It was so great to be in a store filled with Asian food. The store itself looks to be in ground zero for a post apocalypse zombie movie. CAM is in a plaza of three stores -- two of which are out of business -- and it is across the street from a Circuit City -- which is also closed -- so things were not great outside. But once you are threw the doors it is a different story! I was so happy in that store. I even got to speak some Japanese with two Japanese shoppers. I asked them were the okonomiyaki sauce was. We looked together and talked, but could not find any. It was the one failure of the trip. They had everything else I wanted: curry roux, Japanese short grain rice, mabudofu, miso soup, teas, udon, pocari sweat (for dad), and I even found Kirin Milk Tea which was the New Orange Juice for me in Japan. I drank GALLONS of that stuff and could never replicate the taste here. I nearly jumped for joy in the isle while holding the Japanese style tall and slim ペト bottles!
Hurray for import stories!
